SHEET / 06 — SERVICES FAQ
Answers to common scoping and engagement questions
Clear, practical guidance on how NCIDG engagements start, what you’ll need to provide, how long work typically takes, and how we manage pricing, confidentiality, and scope changes.
Q-01
How do we start a credentialing or school project?
We begin with a short intake and scoping call to confirm your goals, target audience, constraints, and desired launch date. From there, we provide a written engagement plan outlining phases, deliverables, roles, and decision points so you can approve scope before work begins.
Q-03
What information do you need to scope the work?
Typically we review your concept or business plan, current policies (if any), intended credential or program outcomes, governance structure, and any regulatory or accreditation requirements you’re aiming to meet. If you’re early-stage, we’ll guide what to gather and what we can build with you.
Q-05
Can NCIDG handle end-to-end execution, not just advice?
Yes. We support projects from organizational formation through operational implementation, including governance and bylaws, certification standards, job task analysis, exam development, curriculum design, state authorization support, compliance planning, and accreditation readiness preparation.
Q-02
What timelines should we expect for a launch?
Timelines vary by starting point and complexity, but most projects run in staged phases with clear approvals at each milestone. A focused scope (e.g., standards + JTA) may take weeks, while a full certification or institution launch often takes several months.
Q-04
How is pricing structured for consulting services?
Pricing is typically set as a fixed fee tied to an agreed scope and phased deliverables. You’ll see what’s included, what’s not included, and when payments are due—so budgeting is predictable and changes only occur if scope changes.
Q-06
Do you work under NDAs and keep materials confidential?
Yes. We can execute a mutual NDA before detailed discussions, and we treat drafts, source materials, and internal documents as confidential. We also clarify who can access sensitive information and how files are shared and stored during the engagement.
